Ephrain Faience Pottery

Ephraim pottery is a small, independently run business whose employees are still making things – really beautiful things – by hand in America. The artists in the Ephraim Faience Pottery studio create art pottery in the Arts & Crafts style. Their original designs and glazes are inspired by the natural beauty of their rural Wisconsin surroundings.

"We invite you to experience our pottery. Discover why we say, "It's more than pottery. It's a lifestyle."

Gordon Pottery

Horsehair pots complement any decor. They should be used with dry arrangements only. Horsehair pots are removed from the kiln at 1025 degrees Fahrenheit. Horsetail hair, sawdust, and sugar are then applied and leave carbon trails in a unique and random manner. Each piece is then sprayed with an iron solution and hand burnished to a satin sheen.

Paddy McNeely

For more than thirty years, Paddy has operated a private studio / pottery in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle. She specializes in functional porcelain with matte black glaze developed to enhance the discipline of simplicity evident in her work. Her work is principally influenced by life in the Pacific Northwest, and by a deep admiration for the potters and pottery of ancient Japan and Korea. From these influences, she has developed a style that is uniquely her own.

Fired Up Clay Works
Fired Up Clay Works has been creating their wonderful handmade pottery in their Oregon studio for over 30 years. They hand throw, build or mold each piece. After the pieces dry, they paint them with up to 15 coats of their own underglazes. These colors are fired into the pottery and will never fade. Their pots are finished with lead free glazes and are completley food safe.
