From 1910 to 1940 the simple architecture of "bungalow" style homes flourished here and in Europe. Bungalows provided a well-designed, conveniently sized and affordable single family home that still cherished the sense of neighborhood. The American Craftsman type of bungalow was considered part of the Arts and Crafts movement, and our Bungalow furniture takes its use of clean horizontals and verticals from this period.
