Small
wedge
to adjust level |
All of our casegoods - dressers, media
cabinets, buffets, etc., are fitted with doors and drawers
while on a level, flat surface. The gaps surrounding the doors
and drawers are made uniform based on a level cabinet.
The floors
in most homes are not perfectly level. Therefore, it is usually
necessary to place a small wedge under one of
the rear legs of the cabinet in order to make it level. After
this is done, the doors and drawers should fit perfectly.
If
your piece is delivered by McKinnon Furniture, our delivery
service includes making sure the piece sits level and the
drawers and doors are working correctly. If you move the
piece at any
time, it will be necessary for you to level the cabinet
again.
